Christine B. Silvester, 85, a resident of Brownsville passed away Friday at the Springfield Hospital in Springfield, VT.
She was born January 7, 1932 in Claremont, NH the daughter of Eleanor Bedor. She married Gordon H. Silvester in Brownsville on November 26, 1949. Christine lived all her married life in Windsor and Brownsville. She was a devoted mother and wife, and enjoyed raising her family.
Her husband of fifty five years passed away in 2004. She was also predeceased by two sons, Brian Silvester at birth and Bruce Norman Silvester in 2009.
Survivors include two sons, David Silvester and his wife, Barbara of West Windsor, and John Silvester and his wife, Lisa of Reading, one daughter in law, Kathy Silvester of Brownsville, one granddaughter, Emily Ann Sprogis and her husband, Casey of Gorham, ME, one grandson, Brandon Silvester of Reading, one great grandson, Juris Sprogis, of Gorham, and one nephew Jeffrey Silvester of Windsor.
At Mrs. Silvester's request their will be no public services. Committal services will be held at the convenience of her family in the Spring at the Sheddsville Cemetery.
The Knight Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
