Wilder, VT - Christine M. Abbatiello, 45, died unexpectedly at home on Monday, August 4, 2014.
She was born April 20, 1969 in Lancaster, PA, the daughter of Philip and Marie (Hirniak) Murphy. Christine graduated from the Lancaster County Day School Class of 1987 and went on to earn her Bachelor's Degree from Colby College in Waterville, ME in 1991. On April 22, 1995 she married Thomas Abbatiello in Atlanta, GA.
Christine had a successful and rewarding career in human resources, holding positions as human resource manager at MBH Solutions Inc. in Teaneck, NJ,; as the director of recruitment for Answerthink in Conshohocken, PA,; and as the Director of Talent and Recruitment at the Human Capitol Institute in Wilder, VT.
Christine was an avid reader and enjoyed fine literature. She also enjoyed horseback riding, but most of all loved spending time with her children.
She is predeceased by her father Philip Murphy and is survived by her husband, Thomas Abbatiello, and their children Clare Abbatiello and Benjamin Abbatiello, all of Hanover, NH. She also leaves her mother, Marie Schimmelbusch, of Plains, PA, her sister, Kathleen Jasaitis, of Marblehead, MA, and her step-mother, Patricia Halpin Murphy, of Ambler, PA.
