Lebanon, NH- Cheryl A. Welch, 66, died Saturday, April 8, 2023, at the Jack Byrne Center at DHMC in Lebanon.

Cheryl was born January 24, 1957, in Hanover, NH, the daughter of Clayton and Mary (Mills) Parker. She grew up in Quechee and graduated from Hartford High School in 1975. While attending high school, Cheryl earned several awards for her dedication to tutoring students in math, a subject she excelled in. Even being analytical at such a young age, she was also sentimental and kept many notes and letters from her classmates, many thanking her for just being such a fun-loving friend who was easy to talk to. Cheryl would go on to further her education later in life, by continuing her studies at the Community College of Vermont. She would go on to earn her associate degree in business in 1997.  Over the years, she worked at many stores throughout the Upper Valley and was last employed at Hannaford Market in West Lebanon, until she could no longer work because of her illness. Cheryl enjoyed baking and spending time in the kitchen, crocheting Afghans for family and friends, and walking the rail trail with her grandson SJ, who held a very special place in her heart.

She was preceded by her mother, Mary Labine; father, Clayton Parker; brother, Bruce Parker; and two nephews, Curtis and Cody Parker.

Cheryl is survived by a son, Clayton Welch, and wife, Amy of Orange Park, FL; three daughters, Cinnamon Hall and husband, Osborne of Ravenswood, WV, Michelle Cross and husband, Matt of Huntington, VT, and Megan Parker of White River Junction; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a half-sister, Melissa Dickinson of North Carolina, along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of Cheryl's life will be held at a later date. Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction has been entrusted with arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans
