PLAINFIELD, NH
Charles W. "Bill" Bushor, Jr., 76, a resident of Plainfield and formerly of Windsor, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday evening, May 19 at his home in Plainfield. He was born April 21, 1939 in Claremont, NH the son of Charles W. and Vera (Rice) Bushor. He received his schooling in Windsor and graduated from Windsor High School in 1957. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during peacetime. Following his honorable discharge he returned to Windsor. He married Marion Morse in Plainfield on December 5, 1964. Bill was employed as a machinist at the former Cone Blanchard Machine Tool Company in Windsor for over thirty years until his retirement in 2000. His wife passed away on February 3, 1998. He later married Jannette Carlisle in Cavendish on November 19, 1999 and she passed away on May 3, 2003.
He was a longtime member of the Hartland Fish and Game Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and watching and playing baseball. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was also predeceased by his parents.
Survivors include two daughters, Stacey Dow of White River Jct., VT and Susan Dimick and her husband, Kenneth of Plainfield, NH, one son, Charles W. Bushor, III of Huntington, MA, two brothers, Beau Bushor of New York State and Edward Bushor and his wife, Barbara of Enfield, NH, six grandchildren including, Brandon Dimick and Zachary Dow, five great grandchildren including Weston Brady Dimick and Nicklaus Bradley Dimick, several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Bill's life will be held Saturday, May 30 at 2:00 PM at his home at 14 Pierce Road in Plainfield, NH.
Memorial contributions may be made to Susan B. Dimick at 14 Pierce Road, Plainfield, NH 03781, to be placed in a fund for his grandson, Zachary Dow and two great grandsons, Weston and Nicklaus Dimick.
