Canaan, NH - Chardonnay Lynn Colonese, 18, died suddenly on Monday October 13, 2014 at home. Chardonnay is survived by her mother Charlotte (Stokes) Benjamin, her husband Cyle Benjamin of Lebanon, NH and her father Jerel Lipscomb and his partner Christina Lorrey of Canaan, NH. Chardonnay left behind three loving brothers, Justin Bailey of Orford, NH, Tristan Colonese and Zander Benjamin both of Lebanon, NH, as well as many other aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
Chardonnay had smiles for everyone at every greeting. Chardonnay had an undying love and commitment to her dear brothers. She is most remembered for her humor and enormously big heart. Nay loved to tease and poke fun of people, no one was safe from her wit. Chardonnay loved big lifted Jeeps and getting dirty in the mud. She loved monster trucks and country music. Chardonnay was rarely without her boots and an attitude to match. She cared for anyone in need and always knew the right things to say to lift someone up. She was a beloved daughter, sister and friend to so many.
Chardonnay graduated from Lebanon High School a year early in 2013. She had plans to start nursing school in November. Chardonnay loved to travel and her most favorite place was Hampton Beach. Chardonnay would try any new experience she could, she had a hunger for life and love and wanted to experience the entire world all at the same time. Chardonnay left endless memories on every person she touched and her presence and gifts will be missed for eternity.
A celebration of Chardonnay and all of her special memories will be at The Wilder Club and Library in Wilder, VT on Saturday October 18th from 2-5pm. The Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct., VT is assisting with arrangements.
