Hartland, VT- Catherine W. Herlihy, 56, died November 10, 2019 at the Jack Byrne Center at DHMC in Lebanon, NH.

Catherine was born May 22, 1963 in Lebanon, NH a daughter of Paul and Joyce (LaRock) Wood. She graduated from Hartford High School class of 1981. After working several jobs she went to work for the Small Business Development Center and later at the Vermont Department of Tourism.  Catherine found her calling when she took over her mother's kennel business where she could incorporate her love of dogs into her daily life.

She is predeceased by her parents and a brother Richard Wood.

Catherine is survived by three sisters Paula Bugbee and her husband Nelson of Hartland, Elizabeth Meade and her husband Brad of West Lebanon, NH and Susan Wood of Quechee, VT, a brother Ralph Wood, two nieces, Jennifer and Amanda, a nephew Paul and several great-nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to Catherine's friends Robin Nichols and John Pinto for the extraordinary care and support that they provided for her.
