Los Angeles, CA - Catherine C. "Kitty" Couture, 93, former long time resident of West Lebanon, NH died Sunday, February 14, 2016 in Torrance, CA
Kitty was born November 20, 1922 in West Lebanon, a daughter of Stephen and Elizabeth (McNamara) Caswell. She graduated from West Lebanon High School Class of 1941. She went to work for New England Bell where she worked in the business office for ten years before retiring. Kitty was married to Albert E. Couture July 10, 1948 in Hanover, NH and they continued to live in West Lebanon. In 2007,she moved to Southern California to be closer to her son.
Kitty was a parishioner of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in West Lebanon and a member of the Women's fellowship until its closing.
She is predeceased by her husband Albert; a son Gerald, and brothers James and Henry Caswell.
She is survived by her son of Los Angeles; a brother, Charles Caswell of Akron, OH and several nieces and nephews.
At her request there will be no services. Private interment will be in the West Lebanon Cemetery. Memorial Masses will be said at the La Salette Shrine in Enfield, NH. Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction has been entrusted with arrangements.
