Carolyn R. D'Arcy, 91, of West Lebanon, New Hampshire, died on Friday, December 11, 2020, in Lebanon, NH. She was born March 24, 1929, in Bridgeport, Connecticut to the late Francis and Ruth (nee Dennis) D'Arcy. She grew up in Stratford and graduated from Stratford High School. She went on to Green Mountain College in Vermont. She spent most of her adult life in Milford, Connecticut as a Real Estate professional and a Section 8 Coordinator. She retired to New Hampshire in 2003. She was a resident of Quail Hollow Senior Living Community in West Lebanon, New Hampshire.

Although Carolyn was successful during her working years, her primary joy in life and true vocation was her role in her family. She devoted her life to her family and blessed each member with her unshakeable love, wisdom, and wit. Her genuine concern for others touched the lives of many and changed the lives of those she held most dear.

She will be greatly missed by her two daughters, Darcy M. Causey (husband George Halverson), and Ruth Malcolm Hebert, her grandsons William J. Malcolm II, his wife Rachel and their three children Julia, Max, and Kelly, her grandson Britton D. Johnson, his wife Jennifer, and their two children Greta and Graham, and grandson Dalton J. Saddler. Carolyn was so greatly loved and was very proud of her five great-grandchildren.

Carolyn was very close to her niece Barbara Kiernan and had many friends whom she considered family, especially Thomas and Margaret Charney and their daughters. Her caregiver, Cathy Giguere took care of her with unflagging love and tenderness. She saw Cathy almost every day in her later years and often said Cathy was just like another daughter to her.

She was predeceased by her brother, William J. D'Arcy, nephew Robert D'Arcy, and niece Kathy D'Arcy.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 19, 2020, at 1 PM at St. Denis Catholic Church in Hanover, New Hampshire. Those attending the Funeral Mass must provide and wear masks at all times and maintain distancing. The Funeral will be live-streamed for friends and family members who are unable to attend.
