Claremont , NH – Carlene Sue Guy, 68, died Monday April 1, 2019 at the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative and Hospice Care in Lebanon , NH .
Carlene grew up in Lebanon where she attended school before being married and starting her family. She was later remarried to James Guy on October 1, 1976. They continued to live in Lebanon until moving to Cornish where they lived for over 25 years. She worked at Hypertherm in Lebanon as a Technical Librarian until retiring due to health problems.
Carlene loved to decorate, having a new theme for the home each season. She also loved her animals including the hummingbirds that she cared for and precipitated having a flower garden for them to enjoy with the help of her husband.
She is survived by her husband, James, of Claremont; daughters Carmen A.A. Ixtacury-Sarat of North Carolina and Cardia Avery of New London, NH; grandchildren Jacqueline May Moodie Riel, Slade Alden Moodie and Avery Kay Centeno-Jones; two great grandchildren; sisters Ruth Ferland of Cornish, Kathy Farnsworth of Kentucky, Marylin Lapan of Plainfield, Nancy Work of Tuscon AZ, and Grace Tisdale of North Carolina; brothers Ralph Alden "Joe" Farnsworth II of Lempster, NH and Frank Farnsworth and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by son, James George Guy II, brother, Peter Harris, and sister Phyllis White.
A gathering will be held at the Cornish Town Hall on Sunday April 7th, 2019 from Noon to 3pm for anyone wanting to join us for coffee & cookies.
