IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bruce Warnick
Martin
July 1, 1944 – February 1, 2025
Berlin, NH- Bruce Warnick Martin, 80, of Berlin, NH, died at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH on February 1, 2025. Bruce was born on July 1, 1944, in St. John, New Brunswick, Canada, the adopted son of Ford Martin and Catherine Phillips.
Bruce was a kind and generous soul, known for his unwavering support and encouragement toward others. He was a thoughtful listener, often likened to a natural social worker or psychologist, providing comfort and wisdom to all who crossed his path.
Bruce worked as a handyman. His career took him to various places, where his dedication to his craft and his gentle spirit left a lasting impression on all who worked alongside him. He attended Lyndon State College in Vermont where he studied meteorology, a testament to his curiosity for the world around him.
In addition to being an excellent cook, Bruce liked to keep records of weather patterns, occasionally sharing the information with the National Weather Service in Gray, Maine. Bruce had a deep love for football and country music, which provided him with many hours of joy. He was a man of simple pleasures, and his passions were reflected in the way he lived his life: with integrity, warmth, and a strong-minded will.
Bruce leaves behind his beloved long-time companion and best friend of over 25 years, Alison, who considered him to be a saint. Bruce had several children: Scott, Nathan, Heather, Kami, Jennifer, Tamara, Christopher, and Sandy.
In keeping with Bruce's wishes, a private burial will take place at the NH Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
