Bonnie Lee Vitagliano, 76, died Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative & Hospice Care in Lebanon, NH.

She was born July 26, 1946, in Island Pond, VT, one of twelve children of Earl and Dorothy (Boutin) McKinney. Bonnie graduated from Hartford High School Class of 1964, the first class to graduate from the current high school. She was married to Richard Vitagliano March 6, 1965, and they made their home in White River Jct., where Bonnie has lived all of her life. Mrs. Vitagliano worked at various jobs throughout the Upper Valley, most recently at Gateway Motors.

Bonnie enjoyed playing bingo, either at area clubs or at home with her family. She was also an avid reader, enjoyed puzzles and listening to Elvis. More than anything she loved being with her family, especially large family gatherings. She was a talented, self-taught seamstress who made clothes for her children and altered clothing for all her extended family.

She leaves her husband, Richard of Bennington, VT; daughters, Kimberly Wood (Bryan) and Karen Menard, both of White River Jct., and Melanie Perry (Jonathan) of Huntersville, NC; grandchildren, Nicholas and Allison Menard, Jake Engle and Madison Perry, great-grandchildren, as well as several brothers and sisters both living and deceased.

Friends may call at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct. on Friday, April 7, 2023 from 5-7PM.
