Beverly Ruth Harris, 73, a former resident of Windsor, died Friday afternoon, April 10, 2015 at her sister's home in Sunapee, NH. She was born October 31, 1941 in Windsor, VT the daughter of Frank S. and Gladys (Williams) Harris. She grew up and attended school in Windsor, VT. At an early age she began babysitting for friends and family. Later she worked at Cedar Manor Healthcare in Windsor as a housekeeper. She had lived in Windsor, VT until recently, when she moved to Sunapee to live with her sister and caregiver, Carol DuBois.

Beverly loved to be outdoors working in her flower gardens.

She was predeceased by five brothers, Frank Jr, Norman, Robert, Harold and Richard as well as two sisters, Evelyn Harris and Doris Paronto.

She is survived by her four sisters, Carol DuBois of Sunapee, NH, Elizabeth Shaw of Windsor, VT, Nancy Sheerman of Claremont, NH, and Mary Place of Havasu City, AZ as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday afternoon and evening, April 14 from 2:00-4:00PM and 6:00-8:00PM at the Knight Funeral Home in Windsor, VT. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 15, at 2:00PM at the funeral home. The Rev. William Sheldon will officiate. Burial will be held in the spring in the Ascutney Cemetery in Windsor. The Knight Funeral Home in Windsor is entrusted with the arrangements.
