Windsor, Vermont – Beulah L. Lapine, 81 died peacefully, Monday, March 2, at the Elm Wood Center in Claremont, New Hampshire. She was born May 20, 1938 in Lebanon, NH the daughter of Jack and Pauline (Stone) Beallas.
Beulah grew up and attended schools in Lebanon, NH. She married Dwight J. Lapine on May 26. They made their home in Windsor, VT where they raised a set of twins. Beulah worked for a time in maintenance and housekeeping at Mt. Ascutney Hospital in Windsor. Later she would help her husband out at the gas station that he operated in Ascutney, VT.
She will be remembered for her great "home cooking and baking" and her devotion to her family. Beulah loved being a mom and grandmother. She also enjoyed fishing and had a passion for cats.
She was predeceased by her husband, Dwight Sr. who died Nov 3 2011, a son Elmer Hodgedon who died Nov 4 2012
Beulah is survived by two daughters, Cindy Morris of Swanton, VT, Elaina Lapine of Windsor, VT, a son Dwight J. Lapine Jr. of Windsor, VT, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date in the springtime.
