Windsor, VT – Betty Jane Errington, 74, died Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Sullivan County Nursing Home in Unity, NH.

Betty was born July 3, 1946 in Windsor, VT a daughter of Levi and Hazel Nelson.  She grew up on the family farm in Cornish, attending schools in Cornish and Windsor and worked as a nanny for a Cornish family during high school.  She was married to Darrell Conley and they made a home in Windsor where they had two daughters before divorcing.  Betty began a 30 year career at Thermal Dynamics in Lebanon in the early 1970's, retiring in 2008.

She met Walter Errington in 1988, they married in 1992 and lived "Chapter II" together in Windsor until moving to Manchester, NH in 2012.  Mr. Errington died in 2018 and Betty has been a resident at Sullivan County Nursing Home for the past year.

Betty and Walter enjoyed Jeeping, riding his motorcycle together and trips to the ocean.  She also enjoyed her flower garden, reading and organizing her many photo albums.  Most of all Betty loved time with her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Walter; a sister Emily Cook and a brother Melvin Nelson.

She leaves her daughters, Peggy Leva (Brian) of Lebanon, NH, Bonnie Soule (Steven) of Manchester, NH and; step children, Denise Errington of Barre, VT, Michael Errington of Wales, MA, Kenneth Errington of Attleboro, MA and James Errington; a sister Sharon Carpenter of Unity, NH; ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews

Services will be held at a later date when COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted.
