White River Junction, VT - Barbara J. (Bailey) Stowe died on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at the Village at White River Junction.

Mrs. Stowe was born on April 18, 1935, in Hanover, NH to Henry Amos Bailey and Ida (Hall) Bailey. She graduated Orford High School in 1953 and was a long time employee of the Hanover Inn in Hanover, NH (1953 – 2002).

She was predeceased by her husband Robert E. Stowe in 1985, her sister Beverly (Bailey) Walker, and her brother Robert Bailey.

Survivors include her daughter Sandra (Stowe) Henry; her son Gregory Stowe; several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

According to her wishes there will be no services and burial will be in the spring at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in White River Junction. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
