White River Jct., VT – Barbara L. Lamont, 67, died Friday July 23, 2010 at home in White River Jct.
She was born November 7, 1942 in Barre, Vermont. Barbara grew up in Corinth after being adopted by the Longo family and graduated from St. Johnsbury Academy. She has lived in Central Vermont and New Hampshire most of her life and has lived in White River Jct. the past twenty five years.
She enjoyed scrapbooking and movies especially horror movies. Most of all she loved being with her family and took special pride in her grandchildren and great grandchildren. True to her nature Mrs. Lamont took in several family members when they were having hard times including having helped to raise her granddaughter Meagan Tellier.
She is survived by her longtime companion of over thirty years, David Goodwin of White River Jct.; two sons Scott Moulton of Woodsville, NH and Danny Moulton of Florida; two daughters Angela Buck of Franconia, NH and Penny Moulton of Wells River, VT as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
A private family memorial will be held at the convenience of the family.
