Johnson
February 20, 1996 – March 31, 2024
White River Junction, VT – Asa G. Johnson, 28, died suddenly at home on Sunday, March 31, 2024. Asa was born on February 20, 1996, in Lebanon, NH, to Harry D. and Denise (Carboneau) Johnson. He grew up in White River Junction and graduated from Hartford High School.
As the youngest of nine siblings, he grew up learning the importance and strength of family connections. He was loyal to his lifelong friends and his family, always there with help with whatever was needed. Asa was always affable and greeted others with a friendly smile and a big heart.
Around 2022, he met Hunter Norris through his best friend, and he was smitten with her from the moment they met. After getting to know one another, often through their mutual love of online gaming and chat, they became engaged last year. Together they started a family complete with cats, a dog named Papyrus, guinea pigs, and bearded dragons.
He is survived by his fiancé, Hunter Norris of White River Junction; his parents, Harry and Denise Johnson of White River Junction; eight siblings, Christopher Grava and wife Alison of Annapolis, MD, Kimberly Turrey and husband Geoffrey of Orange, CT, Sarah Wood and partner Clifford Williamson of Manchester, NH, H Garvey Daniel Johnson and wife Natasha of East Bethel, VT, Obediah Johnson and wife Jessica Keane of Enfield, NH, Isaiah Johnson of White River Junction, Zachariah Johnson of Claremont, NH, and Fallon Carbonneau of Barre, VT; many nieces and nephews, adoptive siblings, other relatives, and friends.
