Wilder, VT – Arthur J. Wilson, 94, died Wednesday evening, August 8th at home in Wilder with his family.
He was born June 15, 1918 in Bloomfield, NJ a son of Arthur J. and Helen (Engleback) Wilson. After graduating from high school in Glen Ridge, NJ, he attended Rutgers University and later the University of California, Los Angeles. After receiving his education, Arthur served his country during World War II, in the US Army. Mr. Wilson operated London Plastics in New Jersey for several years before beginning in the aerospace industry as an engineer for North American Aviation in Southern California, retiring in 1976. He moved to Wilder in 1995 to be nearer to his son.
He was predeceased by his wife, Lucille, in 2007, as well as a brother, Robert A. Wilson.
He is survived by his son Jim Wilson and his wife Debbie of Hanover, NH; three grandchildren Sarah, Christopher and Rachel as well as several nieces and nephews.
