Anthony Roberto Elias Diaz, 30, died unexpectedly at home on Saturday, July 2, 2022.

He was born April 7, 1992, in Lebanon, NH a son of David Diaz and Laurie Chaput. Tony attended school in Windsor and has spent his entire life in the Upper Valley. He learned the restaurant work from his father and worked at several area restaurants including the Hanover Inn and at his father's restaurant, Melaza, in Woodstock. Tony also worked at Fuji Film in Lebanon and most recently in dining services at Kendal at Hanover.

Tony was very caring and will be remembered for his personable, outgoing demeanor. He was extremely friendly and personable and could strike up a conversation with anyone he met.

He loved spending time with his family and friends, watching UFC, going to concerts and comedy shows or working out at the gym.

Tony leaves his parents, David Diaz of Brownsville, VT and Laurie Chaput of Hartford, VT; brothers Steven Chaput of Enfield and Jake Chaput of Hartford, VT; a nephew Parker and uncles Roberto and Pedro Diaz, Michael Chaput and aunt Lucy Mason as well as several cousins.

A visitation will be held Thursday, July 7 ^th from 5-7PM at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct. with a graveside service held in the Brownsville Cemetery in West Windsor, VT on Friday, July 8 ^th at 3:30PM.
