Obituary

Windsor, VT – Aldo C. Niboli, Jr., 88, died on June 10, 2025, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH, following a brief illness.

Aldo was born on March 28, 1937, in Barre, VT, the son of Aldo and Caroline (Minoli) Niboli. He graduated from Windsor High School in 1955 and completed an associate's program at Becker Junior College in Worcester, MA, in 1958. While at Becker, he met his future wife, Janice Stevens. They were married on October 25, 1958, in Worcester and made their home in Windsor.

Aldo worked at Cone Blanchard in Windsor as a supervisor of repair parts sales until his retirement in 1999. In 2001, he and Janice moved to Lake Alfred, FL, where they lived in the winters until her death in 2009. He then returned full-time to Windsor.

He was a devout parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Windsor, where he served as a lector and was a member of the parish council. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #2832 in Windsor.

Aldo served six years in the Army National Guard. He was a member of the Windsor Jaycees and later a JCI Senator, an organization which focused on personal and professional development through community service and leadership.

Aldo had a lifelong passion for golf and was a member of the Windsor Country Club, now the J.P. Larkin Country Club, for 78 years. Over the years, he proudly recorded eleven holes-in-one at various courses.

Aldo was an avid fan of golf, the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, and Bruins. He loved family gatherings, but most of all, he cherished time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Janice S. Niboli. He is survived by his daughter, Linda Ertel and her husband David of Plainfield, VT; his son, Lance Niboli and his wife Cathy of Cornish, NH; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A graveside service at the St. Francis Cemetery in Windsor will be announced at a later date. Knight Funeral Home in Windsor has been entrusted with arrangements. Condolences may be shared with Aldo's family at www.knightfuneralhomes.com.
