Albee Fred Spencer, a lifelong resident of Hartland, VT died peacefully on May 24, 2021. He was at home with his wife, daughter, and grandson by his side. He was 71.

Albee was born May 3 ^rd , 1950 in Windsor, VT. He graduated from Windsor High School in 1969.

He married Margaret A. Welch on August 5, 1972. On July 14, 1977, he welcomed a daughter and on January 6, 2004, his grandson was born.

Albee was a strong, hard-working, caring man. His presence was larger than life. He enjoyed fishing at Groton Lake in Vermont and going to Thunder Road. He was a big fan of Dale Earnhardt. He took great pride in building and driving his 1968 Chevy Chevelle SS. He worked as forklift driver at Vermont Log for 31 years. He spent his retirement junking cars with the help of his grandson.

Albee is survived by his wife, Margaret A. Spencer, his daughter, Nancy M. Spencer, and his grandson, Alex E.S. Gray. Albee was predeceased by his father Fred P. Spencer and his mother Carolyn A. Spencer.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family, at a later date to be determined.
