Windsor, Vermont – James “Jim” T. Dalton, 75, died early Friday morning, February 24, 2012 at the Hanover Terrace Facility in Hanover, NH. He was born March 19, 1936 in Everton, MO the son of Robert and Blanche (Bryant) Dalton. He grew up and attended school in Everton. He served in the US Navy and was stationed in Newport, RI where he met his future wife, Dolores Lariviere. They were married June 24, 1957 and lived in many places including Texas and Rhode Island. They settled in Windsor, VT where they have resided for the past forty years. Jim worked as a truck driver for several trucking firms in the area. He also owned his own trucks for a short time. His most recent employment was driving truck for Upper Valley Press.
Jim’s favorite past time was camping with his wife at the Rest n’ Nest Camp Ground in Thetford, VT where they had a seasonal site.
He is survived by his wife of Windsor, VT, two sons, Robert A. Dalton of Hartland, VT, James T. Dalton Jr. of West Canaan, NH, and a daughter, Doloris Dalton of Wilder, VT.
